Your IMEI and EID are unique numbers assigned to mobile devices. These numbers (one or both) are required to activate your device on a mobile plan. We'll go through the steps to locate these numbers below.
Method 1: Via the Settings App
- Unlock your iPhone and go to the Home Screen.
- Open the Settings app.
- Scroll down and tap on General.
- Select About from the top of the list.
- Here, you will see various details about your iPhone. Scroll down to find:
- IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity)
- IMEI2 (if your iPhone supports dual SIM)
- EID (Embedded Identity Document, for eSIM-enabled phones)
Method 2: Using the Phone Dialer
- Open the Phone app on your iPhone.
- Tap the Keypad tab.
