ALERT!
If you are factory resetting a device remotely, be sure that the uplinks (cellular or wired) can connect to the internet without any manual configuration such as custom APN, static IP, etc.
If you require custom configuration for cellular or wired uplinks to establish connectivity, do not proceed unless you have made appropriate preparations to return the device(s) connectivity after a factory reset.
Tip:
If you have Bring-Your-Own eSIMs on the device, they will not be removed after a factory reset.
Factory Reset from Local Device Interface
1. Connect to the local device interface either by connecting to its IP directly (default is 192.168.50.1), or via InControl2.
2. Click "System"
3. Click "Configuration"
4. Click "Restore Factory Settings"
5. Click "Restore and Reboot"
6. When you see "Factory Settings restored. Rebooting..." the process is complete.
Factory Reset from InControl2
1. Navigate to https://peplink.llamanetworks.com
2. Locate the device you wish to factory reset by navigating to it from its group, searching for it, or clicking "Devices" from the Organization view.
3. Once you've located the device and clicked it, click "Settings" from the Device Status screen:

5. Click the Command dropdown.
6. Select "Reset to Factory Defaults"
7. Click "Apply"
